Dua Lipa is an English artist and singer was born in London on the 22nd of August 1995. After a stint as a fashion model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album climbed up to the third spot in the U.K. Chart for Albums. The album released eight singles, among them Be The Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked to number 6 in the United States. Lipa received the Brit Award in the year 2018 for British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Her maternal grandmother is the reason she has Bosnian origin. It is also possible to trace back her ancestors in the Kosovo town of Peja. The two grandparents of Lipa were both historians.
